Viewing uploaded videos

Guide on where to view uploaded videos

Please note: Videos will only stay in Vault for 30 days. This is the default retention period. After 30 days, the video will be permanently deleted unless it has been marked as evidential. 

To find recorded videos that have been uploaded by your camera: 

  1. Log in to your account via the Halo Vault login page:
    1. UK Login: app.halovault.cam
    2. US Login: app.halovault.us
  2. Navigate to the Videos section from the sidebar menu. Here, you will be able to see a list of all videos recorded and uploaded by your cameras. Each item in the list includes details such as:
    1. Asset ID: A unique identifier assigned to the video
    2. Camera ID: The unique camera serial number that uploaded the video 
    3. Video preview: A preview clip of the uploaded video
    4. Duration: The length of the video 
    5. Captured By: The username of the person who recorded and uploaded the video
    6. Captured Date: The date and time the video was recorded
    7. Uploaded Date: The date and time the video was uploaded to Vault
    8. Site: An internal identifier to group cameras together

  3. Use the search bar at the top to search videos by serial numbers, user name or site
  4. Use the Filter to help you find a specific video by date etc. 
  5. To view media details or edit metadata, click on the video you are interested in. This will open a more detailed view of the selected video
