Guide on how to view the location of your cameras
Please Note: LiveMap and tracking GPS coordinates is only available on S3 Horizon cameras on the latest firmware. This is currently not available on Nano Cameras. If you are interested in enabling this feature for your cameras, please register your interest here
LiveMap is only available to supervisor users in Vault
To view the location of a body camera:
- Log in to your account via the Halo Vault login page:
- Europe/UK Login: app.halovault.cam
- US Login: app.halovault.us
- Navigate to the Live Map section from the sidebar menu. Here, you will be able to see a list of active cameras that have GPS tracking enabled and their location on the map
- For camera's that are recording, a complete journey view is available for up to 12 hours. To view this data, click into one of the cameras listed under Active Cameras
- Green GPS signal: Start location
- Red GPS signal: End location
Please Note: If a camera has a low GPS signal or has completely lost its connection, the location may not be recorded. This sometimes happens if the camera is indoors. No or low signal strength will be indicated by a grey drop pin icon on the camera's screen
