      Triggering Panic Alerts

      Guide on how to send panic alerts from your body camera

      Please Note: This functionality is only available on request and limited to Enterprise customers in the UK and US. 


      What is Panic Alert? 
      Panic Alert allows you instantly send an SMS or email notification directly from your body camera in emergency situations. 


      To trigger a Panic Alert: 

      1. Turn on your body camera by pressing down the power button and ensure it has an internet connection
      2. Trigger the alert as follows depending on your device model:
        1. On Horizon: Tap the P button 3 times
        2. On Nano: Tap the FN button 2 times 
      3. Once triggered, an SMS and/or email notification will be sent based on your configured set-up

      Your camera must be connected to the internet to send alerts. It will attempt to send the panic alert for up to 90 minutes. 

      Your camera must be GPS enabled and have a strong signal at the time the alert is triggered for it to send Current Location data. This feature is only available on Horizon cameras.
