Managing your Notification Settings

Set up how you receive notifications for different camera events

Note: Notification Settings is currently only available in the UK


Supervisors in Vault can customise how they receive notifications for different types of events.

You’ll only receive notifications for cameras belonging to the teams you are assigned.

To manage your notification settings:

  1. Log in to your account via the HALOS Vault login page:
    1. UK Login: app.halovault.cam
  2. Open the Notification Settings page in two ways:
    1. Click the bell icon in the top menu and select the gear icon in the notification panel on the bottom right
    2. OR, click your profile in the top right corner and select Notification Settings from the dropdown


  3. Choose which event to receive notifications for: 
    1. Livestreams: Get notified when a camera in your team starts a livestream 
    2. Panic Alerts: Get notified when a camera in your team triggers a panic alert 
    The relevant feature must be enabled on the camera to receive notifications



  4. Set how you want to be notified using the toggles. Your settings will be saved automatically
    1. Vault: Receive an in-app browser notification
    2. Email: A notification is sent to the email address linked to your Vault account
    3. SMS: Receive a text message to your registered mobile device

      Before you can use SMS notifications, you need to add a valid mobile number to your profile:
      • Click your profile in Vault (top right) and select My Profile from the dropdown list
      • In the profile details section, click Edit 

      • Enter a valid mobile number and click Save

      • You should now be able to toggle on SMS notifications in the Notification Settings page
