Assigning or Unassigning your cameras

Guide on how to assign and unassign cameras

Assign a Camera

To assign a user to a camera, you can either: 

1. Navigate to the Teams section from the sidebar menu 
2. Select the relevant team in your list. This will open a list of all users in that team. 
3. Select a user from this list (this will become highlighted)
4. You will now see an Assign to <Selected username> button beside all of your unassigned cameras. Click this button to assign the selected user to a camera.  

OR

1. Navigate to the Cameras section from the sidebar menu 
2. Select the camera to assign in your list 
3. You will now see an Assigned to drop-down on the right under Device Status. Select the user from this dropdown to assign to the camera 
4. Click the Assign button to assign the selected user  

Unassign a Camera

To unassign a user from a camera, you can either: 

1. Navigate to the Teams section from the sidebar menu 
2. Select a user in your list to unassign from a camera (this will become highlighted)
3. You can either click the Unassign button in the Users section or the ❌ next to the user name under the Cameras section

OR 

1. Navigate to the Cameras section from the sidebar menu 
2. Select the camera to unassign in your list 
3. Click the Unassign Camera button on the right under Currently Assigned To
