How do I connect my camera to Wi-Fi?

If you entered your Wi-Fi details during the order process:

  • Your camera should already be pre-configured. Once powered on, it will automatically connect to the provided network when in range.

  • No additional steps are needed unless your Wi-Fi network name or password has changed.

In the case where your camera is not pre-configured or you need to update it: 

  1. Use QR Code Configuration: If you're using a Horizon camera and it's running the latest firmware, you can configure Wi-Fi via Vault using a QR code. You'll find this feature in the Vault platform under the Configuration tab. Please refer to the below guide for step-by-step instructions:

    If you don't see the tab, you may not have the right permissions

  2. Use WPS: If your router has a WPS button, you can connect your Horizon camera this way. Please refer to the below guide for step-by-step instructions:

  3. Contact Support: If neither of these work for you, please contact our support team support@halosbodycams.com. If your camera is already connected to Wi-Fi, we can remotely push the new network settings. If it’s not currently connected, we’ll help schedule a remote session to see if we can manually update your camera’s Wi-Fi details.
