Quick guide on how to assemble and attach a magnetic mount to your horizon body camera
This type of magnetic mount is only compatible with Horizon S3 cameras.
What is a magnetic mount?
This is a more advanced body camera accessory that allows you to securely attach your body camera to clothing or gear using strong magnets. No need for additional clips or straps!
What does this include?
Each magnetic mount includes an outer mount which is attached to the camera and an inner mount which is placed behind the garment.
To attach a magnetic mount to your camera:
- Position the mount against the camera, ensuring the outer mount is facing upwards (see screenshot below of centre component direction)
- Slide the outer mount upward onto the rear of the camera rail. Push until it clicks securely in place.
- Place the inner mount on the underside of the garment at the desired location. Keep both mounts ready - one in front and one behind the fabric.
- Hold the camera (with the outer mount attached) against the garment. The magnets will snap the camera and inner mount together.
- To remove the mount, simply detach the outer and inner mount from inside the garment. To remove the mount from the camera, hold the camera firmly, rotate the outer mount 180° and detach
