Adding users to HALOS Vault

Guide on how to add users to HALOS Vault


To add users to HALOS Vault:

  1. Log in to your account via the HALOS Vault login page:
    1. Europe/UK Login: app.halovault.cam
    2. US Login: app.halovault.us
  2. Navigate to the Teams section from the sidebar menu. Here, you will be able to see a list of Teams related to your account
  3. Select the team to add a user. This will open up a view of all users currently in that team 
  4. If you would like to add an existing user to the team, click the Add Existing Users button in the Users section in the middle of the screen and then search for the user.
  5. If you would like to add a new user, click the Add User button in the top right.

  6. A prompt will appear to enter key information about the user
  7. If you would like the user to be able to log in to review their own footage then tick the Can Login checkbox. You will be asked to enter an initial password for the user. Note: once that user has logged in to Vault using the email and password for the first time, you are unable change those fields.
  8. Select the type of user
    1. Basic: can be assigned to a camera and view their own footage (if they are allowed to login)
    2. Supervisor: will have the same permissions as the Supervisor user creating them (including ability to create other users)
    3. SOC: has access to Livestream and Two-way Comms, designed for putting Livestreams up on a wall in a security operations center
  9. Click Save to add the new user to the team
  10. The added user will have to change their password when they first login to HALOS Vault
